The Project Trade Show in New York City was held July 19- 21 at the Jacob Javits Center. High-end brands showcased the lines that will hit retail this fall. Most of the apparel brands that were in attendance at the trade show are familar names but the highlight was the new brands hoping to gain retail orders.
PROJECT in New York is held two times a year, in January and July, and offers the contemporary menswear market a chance to get in front of fashion tastemakers, bloggers and media. The top menís apparel, footwear, and accessories brands along with press and retailers from around the world makes this event a fashion lovers dream.
The journey through the Javits center lobby from Project to Agenda is somewhat of a transformation. The Agenda Trade Show hosts the HOTTEST streetwear/ action sports brands in a setting that blends style, art, music and culture. As a NY and Vegas trade show veteran I am still amazed at how the Agenda experience always seem to reinvent itself. The imagination of the brands vying for attention never cease to amaze as the props, displays and give always gets better each show.
